In 1921 Ailsa Marjorie Campbell was a boarder at some establishment in Birkenhead, aged 16yrs and 3m, female, single and born in Pardrush, Antrim. Sounds like her alright.

In 1938 there is a marriage of Ailsa M Campbell and one Thomas W Carter at Poona, India. This is on the GRO, Archive Ref ARM2, p. 141, line 37. It may need the certificate to clarify this. No death record found for Ailsa M Carter.
