The age of 59 was around three months wrong. I think it was him.
On 26 May 1923 he passed through Vancouver, BC and stated:
Name: Campbell, Alexander D
Birth Place: Croydon England
Age: 65
Sex: M
M/S/W: S
Occupation: Tourist
Race: Scot
Nationality: India
Residence: Mareara, India
(illegible)
Height: 6ft
The Croydon birth is enough! It was him. The age was right too.
