The earlier marriages could account for the Morpeth, Ashby and Northumberland birth but the mystery is Petronella’s birth.
Terence’s marriage was also a child of Denis and Ruth from his, Terence’s, marriage announcement in the Times of 5 Mar 1982 to Diana, dau. of Mr & Mrs H V Kahn of Kinnerton St, SW1.
I have no idea if Petronella was Denis and Ruth’s daughter: she married a Syed F A Kirmani in 1969 and died the following year. Her marriage certificate would say who her father was.
In the meantime, I shall include only Terence and Clare as children of Denis and Ruth.
