There are two Frederick George Drewitt births on FreeBMD from 1840 to 1880:
b. Q1 of 1848, Worthing, vol 7, p. 563
b. Q1 of 1877, Congleton, vol 8a, p. 341
The latter is a bit young for marriage in 1897; I favour the former as the birth is around the time of hers.
In the 1881 census there is a Frederick D Drewitt at 47 Gt Ormond St Hospital, London who was the Physician with a stack of letters after his name that look right. His birth was in Arundel Sussex in 1848, aged 33. Looks very like the above earlier person.
Get the 1901 census for a final check? Yes, but the 1939 appeared first and definitely gave him an 1848 birth date, and to the day. Details on his wife’s Notes.
