died 23 March 1872 at Little Houghton was proved at the Principal Registry by Sac kville George Stopford-Sackville of Drayton House in the said County Esquire and David Watts Russell of Biggin Hall in in the said County Esquire the Executors.

Ordered to see his relatives, or in-laws.

His will was written in medieval script and medieval words and is tortuous in the extreme.  As far as I can make out he was providing for his wife and sister and then passing his estate on to a younger brother Christopher or his progeny.  I don’t think there are any new Powys descendants revealed so am going no further in trying to understand it!
