Here's a few links to special sites
These are just a few sites that are worthy of examination either
because of the quality of information or because of the quality
of work therein. In no way is this intended to be an exhaustive
list, just a few sites that I admire and find useful.
Medieval
genealogy links - Chris Phillips' stupendous set of resources.
The Dixies - Louise
Staley's excellent study of this family
Wills
of the Province of Canterbury - Download the office copies
of wills over seven centuries
Medieval genealogy -
Leo van de Pas's lifetime collection from early medieval to modern times
Plantagenet Dynasty - Kevin
Bradford's extensive and superbly illustrated study
The Welbank Family, Our closest
ancestors and relatives on an internet site (some of it requires a password).
Trudy Weaver's collection of all
the Powises and Powyses, etc on the British BMD indices, quite engrossing!
The Collard site,
containing information on the family of my P-L grandfather's sister. Near
the top of this Home Page, take the link to the MAIN PAGE.
Graeme Wall's Kenrick Site
which for me is a major extension of the collection of the descendants of
Hans Hamilton, vicar of Dunlop, Ayrshire.
Bill Jehan's
excellently researched study of all Blennerhassets. For the
ancestors of the Hamiltons and de Courcys go to the Family Tree
section of this site and choose that for Castle Conway.
