Barrington Genealogy

Our family are one of the co-heirs of the last of the Essex Barringtons, the other co-heirs are the Simeons and possibly some Campbells, though they may have died out. The Barringtons (Baringtons or, earlier, Barentones) are a mighty genealogical asset because they can be traced in the male line from the early 12th century, being in Keats-Rohan's Domesday Descendants volume. Additionally they married into prominent medieval families giving their descendants connections with many very well documented ancestries. So I have made it my business to find out what I can of this family, giving two sets of documents:
